Building a WordPress website often starts with a WordPress Theme, which is a template. This is one of the features that allows us to build a site more affordably and much quicker than custom coded sites; (custom-coded sites can take 6 months or more and cost 2-10 times as much).
Selecting the theme is really just the beginning of a project which usually takes about a month to complete, (as long as we have all needed client collaboration). Specialty WordPress Websites with upgraded features than the basic site can take longer.
When viewing these demos, note that we are not limited to the colors or images that are part of the demo. Once the theme is selected we will customize it to match your brand.
If none of these demos appeal to you then we can certainly select a different theme that is not listed here or build a custom theme.
In addtion to theme demos, we are also listing some of the more common theme builders and page builders that we use to build websites. Knowing this can be helpful for clients who are planning to add content to their site on their own, though the Webmaster Service is the most convenient option.

So far Site Origin is the only decent free page editor we’ve seen, and it has an optional paid premium plugin upgrade. It’s not as sophisticated as some of the other page builders listed here, but for a free plugin it’s very powerful.
The Following are specifically NOT recommended for building websites.
Any “Web Builder” is not recommended – We do not consider these to be business-grade sites capable of achieving marketing objectives. Even if they help you create a pretty site they are not the best option for SEO, PPC+, conversion optimization and other required features for a business-grade site.
WordPress.com is not recommended – Do not confuse with WordPress.org. For multiple reasons we suggest using your own hosting with an independent installation of WordPress.
Most Free WordPress Themes are not recommended – Most free themes do not have business-grade features. They can be limiting, which does not help with marketing objectives.
Gutenberg Editor – The release of WordPress 5.0 with the Guttenberg block editor caused a major division in the WordPress community. So much that there’s now an entirely new community for ClassicPress. We could give our opinion on whether Gutenberg is better than the classic editor or not, but it’s really an irrelevant argument when you’re using professional theme builders and page builders. They bypass Gutenberg and the classic editor anyway.

If I pick one of these themes, will my website look like any other sites that you've built for other businesses?
There are some elements that might look similar, but overall each theme is customized for the brand on a project-by-project basis.
We will generally not use the same theme for competitors in the same market. Even if we did, it’s rare for customers to notice. When they are looking for services they are not consciously thinking about the experience they are having, they just have it. And they are not consciously looking to see if your website looks similar to your competitors. They are focused on what they are looking for (the service or product that they need), not on the design of your site.
Again, these demos are just samples. If you like one of them then we can use it to build your site. If you don’t then we can use a different theme or build a custom theme.
Do I have to use the theme above for my business cateogry?
Of course not. These are just samples. The site we build for you can use one of these themes but we can use a different one too. If you’re a lawyer and prefer one of the business themes, then we can use that. If you’re an HVAC business and like the Plumbing theme then it can become an HVAC theme. And so on.
These themes look a bit formulaic. Do you ever do anything more creative?
When looking at mulitple theme demos there are aspects of them that begin to look similar. We can customize any theme, but we would not suggest doing anything at the expense of conversion optimization. They might seem formulaic because there is a science behind good website layouts and optimizing for conversion. Keep in in mind that your customers are not consciously thinking about how your website is built. They will be visiting your site to decide whether they will use your services. They are not trying to discover if you built a good site, they simply have the experience they have without consciously thinking about it. Creativity can help with portraying your brand accurately but it’s also important to ensure that the website visitor has a good experience with your website and that it accomplishes your marketing objectives.
Do I have to learn how to use these theme builders if I want to add content to my site?
We listed these theme builders so that clients who wanted to add content to their own sites can research them. Most of them have free training on how to use them and you generally do not have to know website code, though it helps. We would not suggest trying to build an entire site on your own, but small changes are often something a client can figure out or they just ask us to do it.
Most commonly, our clients do not want to add content to their own site. They would rather we do it, and we can adapt or change site content on a regular basis with the Webmaster Service.
The next most common client does not make changes to the anchor pages of the site, or the main pages in the top navigation of the site. If they add content at all they add content to the blog and the blog generally does not use the professional page builders. In some cases it has the option, but usually blog posts are published with the default WordPress editor. You could choose to use the classic editor or the Gutenberg block editor in those cases.
I need a more sophisticated website with features that are not on these theme demos. Do you build other types of sites?

Do you have samples for anything besides WordPress?
WordPress is the most cost-effective way to build a business-grade website. Other methods are either not business-grade, might be business-grade but not as flexible in features, or might cost 2-10 more than what we normally charge to build it.
Short answer is no, we only work with WordPress. If you want a custom-built site or if you want to use another CMS besides WordPress then we might have some people you can call. Contact Us.
Do I have to buy the page builders seperately?
If you hire Mirex Marketing to build your site then the page builder will be included with the build.
The buttons to buy the page builders are for anyone else.
